What exactly do you measure?
Four distinct field types: RF from wireless sources such as Wi-Fi, cell signals, satellite internet terminals and smart meters, reported as power density in µW/m²; AC magnetic fields from current flow in wiring, panels, well pumps and overhead lines, reported in milligauss; AC electric fields from energized wiring, reported in V/m, which matter most around the bed; and dirty electricity, the high-frequency transients riding on building wiring. The Circadian & Light Assessment adds light spectrum, brightness and flicker.
My pump and my internet dish are outside. Does that still matter?
It can, and it is measurable either way. AC magnetic fields from a pump or an overhead service drop pass through exterior walls, and an RF transmitter mounted on the roof is closest to whatever room sits beneath it. Because a pump only produces a field while it is cycling, a single spot reading can miss it, which is what Extended Monitoring exists for.
