A standard assessment measures field levels at one point in time. Extended Monitoring logs them through the night in the room where you spend about a third of your time, so you can see the pattern rather than a single snapshot.

Field levels in a home rarely hold still. They shift as devices cycle on and off, as utility load rises and falls across the neighborhood, and as the household settles for the night. A single daytime reading captures one moment. Extended Monitoring records the primary sleeping area across a full night so the pattern becomes visible.

This is overnight RF and magnetic field logging in the primary sleeping area. The current logging device, the Gigahertz Solutions NFA1000, a professional-grade calibrated instrument, records AC magnetic fields in milligauss (mG) through the night, and a dedicated multi-hour RF-plus-magnetic logger is being added to the toolkit. RF power density, when reported, is measured in microwatts per square meter (µW/m²), and we state the unit with every reading.

The sleeping area matters because it is where you spend the most continuous, uninterrupted time. Seeing how levels move overnight supports intentional optimization: placement, distance and settings changes grounded in what actually happened while the house was quiet, rather than a single point on the clock.
